DOUGLAS AYER
Dover, NH – Douglas Edward Ayer, 44, died Sunday July 19, 2009 at his home in Dover.
Born January 20, 1965 in Dover, New Jersey, he was the son of Daniel W. and Jacqueline (Valencia) Ayer. He attended Dover High School and went on to graduate from the Thompson School of Culinary Arts at U.N.H.
Doug loved reading, music, cooking, and gardening.
Members of his family include his wife, Anesy Akyuwen of Indonesia, his parents, Daniel and Jacqueline Ayer of Dover; brothers, Tim Ayer and sister-in-law, Valerie, Tony Ayer and Dan E. Ayer all of Dover; his sister, Kelly (Ayer) Schutt and brother-in-law, Brian of Groveton; together with nieces and cousins.
Visiting hours will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Mary New Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to The Triangle Club, 120 Broadway Dover, NH 03820.
